What rules dictate the behavior of men and women in relationships today?
Some rules in our society today help dictate the behavior of men and women in relationships, by affecting the way others and the people whom are in the relationship think about themselves. These rules that society sets for mankind to follow and to guide everyone through a firm and healthy relationship. Some of these rules are how you should act in public with whom you are affectionate with, it can even apply to when the couple is alone.
Name a situation in which the rules have been clearly violated? That is, what are things “nice girls” or “nice boys” just don’t do?
At times and in different cultures many people find it hard to believe that couples now have the urge to show their affection so openly and it disappoints them to see this happening whether it may be with the youngsters of society or the elderly. To most people this is morally wrong, because it breaks a rule of their culture. "Nice girls" and "nice boys" are not intended to ever commit to any situations such as this.
Why do these rules exist? Do you think they apply locally or even just at your school? What are the possible consequences of breaking these rules?
These rules which control relationships between couples set a stable balance of good nature people and those whose temptations are far beyond their will power. These rules apply worldwide not only in our classrooms, but in the streets internationally. Why do these rules apply and what are the consequences? Well the rules are put into place to maintain an order in society that helps everyone run their lives without worry. Of course there are people whom can't follow so and so rules and must frequently break them in order to stay pleased and in mischief, so their consequences vary from a detention after school to a suspension, or a day to life in prison in the streets.
Do you know if these rules are applicable to other cultures or are they totally different?
Think of scenes from ANY show/movie that adheres to these rules as well as shows/movies that violates these rules.
To my Knowledge the Arabic community doesn't respect the affectionate way people are in the streets of America, why? because their communities have grown old and wise for years learning that man should have self control in order to function properly in their future lives. To the extent of my knowledge I do not recall any Show/Movie that may adhere to these rules, and looking for something with it is terrible tedious.
